Tonight, the United Football League is bringing that exact brand of gridiron warfare to our old stomping grounds. The Orlando Storm (5-2) are rolling into Phantom Warrior Stadium at Fort Hood to square off against the Dallas Renegades (3-4) for the UFL’s Hats Off To Heroes matchup.
And they’ll be playing in front of the toughest crowd in the world: the troopers of the 1st Cavalry Division and the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment.
The Matchup: A Desperate Dallas vs. A Surging Storm
The Storm are coming in hot off a nail-biting 24-23 comeback victory against the Houston Gamblers. Meanwhile, the Renegades are on life support, riding a devastating four-game losing streak and fighting tooth and nail for a final playoff spot. In front of the 1st Cav, they’ll need to tighten up that perimeter and lock down Dallas QB Austin Reed early.

For the players on the field tonight, the pressure is a little different. They aren't just playing for playoff implications or a paycheck; they are playing in front of the "First Team" and the "Brave Rifles."
